Question ideas to feed vegan friend!

    Primal Fuel
    hi all,

I am new to paleo, loving the freedom, energy and way I feel. Have a vegan friend coming to lunch, need some ideas and what to feed us so we are eating from the same dish! Any help out there? Thanks Deb777

Pumpkin curry, good hearty curry with pumpkin instead of meat. Serve with some quinoa, if you eat that.

Oh just be careful what kind of curry powder/paste you use. Some of them have shrimp/seafood in them.

    Here are tons of ideas:

Some of them are not primal as they involve tofu or grains, but a lot of them look really good.

Why not do a huge salad? You can put a bunch of different vegeatbles/fruit/nuts in it and make your own dressing. Should be pretty tasty.

Ratatouille might be a good choice with a side salad?

We have Vegan friends (I think that Vegans have a lot more in common with Primal folks than differences), and we have found the following to work:
    1. A veggie stir fry cooked in olive oil on a lowish heat.
    2. Roasted root vegetables with a leafy green side salad.
    3. Pumpkin soup.
    4. Fruit skewers for dessert (fruit chunks threaded onto kebab sticks).
Disclaimer: I eat 'meat and vegetables' ala Primal, although I don't agree with the carb curve. I like Perfect Health Diet and WAPF Lactofermentation a lot.
