NO WAY! Maybe you should just get really drunk and stay that way until they figure it out. But I always have plenty of prayers to send.

Thanks Siobhan and Sabine. One of my NP friends told me to step back and look at it from their prospective - do everything to truly prove its benign because if I come back in a year with cancer, I could have a case that they didn't follow standard of care. So I'm trying to keep that in mind and tell myself they are proving its benign, not that it's cancer!

Actually slept over 8 hours last night. Going to make spicy Vietnamese beef for dinner. Doing a Target run with DH. Need to do homework. Probably will allow myself a nap later on. Juliet remains clingy - wonder what she senses?

Hey - I've taken a break from the forums...... so I missed all this. I'm so sorry you are having to go through all this! Sending prayers for a NO cancer finding and that the lumpectomy will be the end of it!

MRI and blood work 3/29 starting at 0630. Hoping they do not find anything other than marked spot. If so, no further biopsy. If they see something away from the clip, then biopsy and more waiting.

Spicy Vietnamese beef was great. Had potatoes (a bit over browned) and spinach. Wine too......

    Ah, crap once again.

I like the focus on proving it benign. How are you holding up with this?

I have my teary moments. When I was on the phone trying to get someone who could reschedule the MRI (original 5 weeks out when I'm out of town) I started leaking. I had clearly told the MD that I needed to be talking to a scheduler with my calendar in hand when it was done. That didn't happen. I opened my email to find the appointment. I know I'm not the only patient and I know most just do what they are told, but I'm determined to be proactive and I refuse to act like a patient and put my life on hold to go to appointments scheduled for their convenience.
