Slept almost 9 hours, pretty light sleep though. Going to the clinic this morning. Coming home in the afternoon as I'm behind on homework and have stats due today. Set out a large pork chop to thaw for the stir fry tonight. Trying to not dwell on the possibilities.........

Only up 0.4 pounds post trip. I'm surprised as I had wine and potatoes several days!

Worked 1/2 day at clinic. Came home and took a nap. Did stats homework and turned in. DH is going with tomorrow. It's funny I have a love/hate relationship with the girls. I hate that they are big, heavy, make finding clothes difficult, but DH loves them. Well tomorrow is the first step to figuring out what the sun burst is.

Slept 6 1/2 hours (3 1/2 in deep sleep, thanks UP). Got up before alarm went off. Having some quiet time, prayer, coffee, and catching up. Will start the chicken before we leave. All of the sudden I'm nervous. Maybe the reality of going to a CANCER hospital? I looked up the doctor I'm seeing in the directory. One of her research interests is faculty and provider prevention (wonder if that's why I got in so quick?). DH did recon when he worked the building yesterday. He knows exactly how to get us there. The website says to prepare to stay the entire day. Debating packing snacks. Maybe I will throw a couple of protein bars in my purse. I'm sure we can find some tea or water somewhere. Will update when I get home.

Back from an 11 hour day. Saw MD - no relevant hx, no risk factors, didn't feel a lump. Off to mammogram and a 4 hour wait. Several (7) old fashion smoosh views. Ultrasound found spot. 5 punch biopsies and a clip marker placement later back to mammogram (2 views) to make sure marker is in good placement. Back to original MD - radiology classified me "concerned" which is highest non-biopsy result classification. MD filling out surgery consult paperwork, but holding onto them until biopsy report back hopefully Friday, but probably Monday. Long day, sore left girl, tired..........
