Made spiced nuts - they are good. Dinner (bacon wrapped hamburger steak, crispy home fries, salad with balsamic) was yummy. DH has packed the leftover ff and 1 hamburger steak for his work meal tomorrow. There are two and salad left for DS and I tomorrow, if DH doesn't eat for lunch. Back up plan is fish and salad. Doing great on carbs today. Have walked almost 2 miles and done several flights of stairs. I'm saving wine and 1 oz of nuts for a snack later. Grocery store tomorrow to avoid the holiday rush.

I'm interested in getting stronger mostly because of my new swimming habit. I would like to think I could rescue someone, although I will obviously leave that to the pros. But one of my swim buddies admitted that she had flunked the lifeguard course because she just wasn't strong enough. I don't want that to be me.

Slept great. Catching up and having CWCC. Gearing up to do grocery thing. Then when DH leaves for work I plan on writing a paper.
Have done research for paper. Just don't want to write it yet (it's not due until 12/3). Planning on groceries when DH leaves now. Will do a bit of baking after that (mock cornbread for stuffing - needs to dry out, cranberry relish, and some sesame crackers). I've got a bad case of the lazies for school work the last few weeks.. Oh well, most times I do my best work the day something is due.

Having fish for dinner with leftover salad. DS ate the 3 leftover hamburger steaks, so none left for my dinner. Finished grocery shopping. Between the store and putting away I walked a mile. Glad it's over with as it was already busy!

As your proxy, I ate two hamburger steaks with blue cheese. Mmmmmmm. I have some fish in the refrigerator, but not for tonight. Food, glorious food!
