I'm in the no-rice club too. I never did like it much, and now I know why. When I went to the grills, I used to load up on meat and leave those sauces alone too - all sugar. I was never very popular with the staff because I would clean out the meat bins.

Hope you have an easy day at the clinic!

I wimped out and canceled last night. While the money is good, it is an extra job that I use to pay tuition - therefore it's easy to wimp out occasionally. I'm scheduled next the Tuesday before thanksgiving. Slept great in my own bed. Being really lazy. I'm thinking I will work on stats today. Maybe even look at the final! I've got laundry to do also. Pulled leftover chili out of the freezer last night and a pork shoulder steak from the delivery. I'm thinking of it, veggie broth, onion, and mushroom in the oven for several hours and cauliflower rice/potatoes for dinner. I need to do grocery shopping, but want to wait until I see what's in my basket Saturday. Still have the December papers to write....... And the taxes to organize........and my closet to clean out (you can tell what I procrastinate doing! ).

Got on the scale and I stayed the same. I had hoped it would go down a smidgen, but it was harder to not cheat staying with my friend (bread products - my down fall even if I pay the next day). Today isn't official, but still discouraged.......I've been stuck forever!

    my motivation

    As per Marcadav:
    Do 30-60 days clean primal.
    No grains, sugar, alcohol.
Eat 3 meals and primal snacks.
    Don't track food.
    Don't tweak.
Don't expect issues to go away quickly. Instead, just follow the plan and see how things play out.
Decide on an exercise plan you can/will do consistently during the 30-60 days and then do it.

There are times like that. I have weights that are like trampolines - I keep bouncing off them. But sooner or later I wear them out.

I just leave the rice behind at the Mongolian grills. And choose my sauces carefully. Coconut milk, curry, stuff like that.

Pork was yummy. I had it with cauliflower rice and the boys added corn (I'm using stuff up). I didn't eat from 1 yesterday until 5 today, but did have 2 cups of CWCC. I can't wait to see what's in my organic veggie box!

Bacon wrapped hamburger steaks for dinner tomorrow. I will use up some potatoes O'Brian for boys and sweet potato for me. I will pull out some frozen greens.

Scale is still stuck. I'm considering not weighing in again for a while. It just depresses me and when it doesn't move I cheat. I can go by how things are fitting. Slept well. Cool here (high 50s right now). Trying to decide if I want to get out today or have another slug day. I think the blahs are catching as several of us have mentioned them in journals. Need to eat some food and get some coffee. I've started reading Making Shift Happen on my Kindle and think I want the hard copy. I'm bookmarking every other page!

    CWCC???

Just looked at the website make shift happen. I like the guy. I think I will order that book. I'm in the same place on the issues with the scale. I want to throw them out the window. I think when my son moves out I will send the scales with him. It would be nice to not have any idea what I weigh and go strictly by how I look in the mirror and how my clothes are fitting.

After realizing today that I basically at my goal even though the scale should be lower, I think will I put my scale away for awhile. Maybe get it out to scare myself if my clothes stop fitting. The scale is a friend with two faces.
