I was home by midnight and slept okay up a couple of times since I'm pushing water. Saw 20 kiddos in 3 hours, nothing for an hour, then finished with 4 in about 30 minutes. Getting ready to get moving, have a 0830 meeting with one of my preceptors, then a team meeting at 10-1130. Start interviewing at 12 and go straight thru every 20 minutes until 5. Another meeting at 530 and then rustle up food and sleep. Saturday class starts at 0800.

Can't sleep (probably the two slices of bread I had while waiting for my dinner - I knew it would upset my stomach, but was starved). Last night I got about 5 hours of sleep. Went by a clinic first thing and saw a student. Pedi team meeting after that. Some time to wolf down leftover steak, mushrooms, onion since my Greek yogurt had worn off. Then 5 hours of interviews, which ran late making me have to cancel my massage.I've been trying to use this Groupon and its not working out. Stopped for dinner about 7 and the bread (and wine) happened while waiting for my meat and sweet potato. In bed when I got back to the house and right to sleep. Now awake with stomach and headaches. One of these days I will learn. I need to carry emergency snacks for times like those so I don't get too hungry. Okay back to bed and hopefully sleep!

Hope you got some more sleep. Last night was my first opportunity in awhile to sleep long and not have to get up and I took advantage of it. Woke up and and watched the stars rotate through my skylights. Orion was right overhead and as he moved I saw him through the window over my head. Never thought I would be stargazing from my bed.

One advantage of our mistakes is that it teaches us not to do them again. In theory.

Finished class up early yesterday. Chicken and salad for dinner. Slept well (about 10 hours) got up twice briefly since I'm still pushing water. Drinking coffee, catching up, crying at wineandcandy's posting, and generally having a slow start to my day. I plan on writing and submitting another paper today before I go to the night clinic at 6. I've got a student tonight, so will have some help. Hopefully we will be done by 11. Tomorrow I've got interviews and work to get done. The same on Tuesday and home Wednesday for 3 weeks.I'm counting the 2 day get-away with DH for our 29th anniversary as being home, since we are just going an hour up the road and will be together!
Well off to start the day.......will post when the paper is submitted.
So two cups of coffee and I still feel slug-like. I've revised my day and have graded some papers, will outline the debate for the paper and will work on stats homework - because I'd rather do it than write a paper today. The paper isn't due until 12/20, so I am working ahead. I did schedule it in for Tuesday, so I'm not procrastinating much!. If you can't tell, I'm a list maker and scheduler, though it doesn't bother me to rearrange the schedule as long as things get done!
