I have a pretty good cheat version using tapioca flour. You can put cheese right in it (it's a variation of Brazilian cheese bread), which is kind of neat. It's not good leftover, I've found though.

I confess I had 4 slices of very thin pizza (I'm going to call it my 20% and get over it). It didn't taste nearly as good as I thought it would! Going to clinic today. Hope it's not crazy. Once I got to sleep last night/this morning, I slept well, but I got 4.5 hours total. Lots of primal leftovers in refrig for dinner tonight. I know the pizza will be gone when I get home.

Sometimes cheating is good for making cheating seem less attractive... LOL! We get to eat so much wonderful stuff anyway.

^ agree! I often think - even if I decided to eat some pizze, I'll bet it wouldn't be nearly as wonderful as I used to think it was.

Padington's is always wonderful. Even if you only eat the toppings.

I find it's the combination of melted cheese, spices, and tomato sauce that's what I really like about pizza. I have no problem scraping all that off the crust and leaving the crust behind! (Although I do get some odd comments from people I'm eating with... )

I'm glad you had some pizza. Frankly I think the real thing is preferable to anything I've tasted. If I could tolerate it, I would indulge occasionally. I might even be tempted anyway. The local over-the-moon wood-fired pizza place has closed til next year, or I might give it a go even with the consequences. They make unbelievable crust. At least I remember it that way.

Thanks all! Clinic was steady. Got home in time to have chili with sour cream (been craving it lately too) and watch DWTS. A guilty pleasure, but so fun. Tomorrow probably leftovers. Thursday something in the slow cooker since I will be working. Maybe steaks again Friday.

Slept okay - was up about 1 1/2 hours, which is short for me. Today is an errands day getting ready to go to Provo for school. I need to make a woman's health check up appointment, but have to decide do I go to a WHNP about 5 minutes from my house or drive an hour to go see a GYN who practices Paleo? I'm leaning toward the drive since I know I will not get any hassle about my diet. I've told myself that I have until Friday to decide and call for an appointment. I've walked twice this week - if I count work/shopping walking. Today I will try to get a real walk in. It is a bit of a challenge with two dogs - they both want to go a different way from the way I want to go! I'm also toying with joining the fitness center down the street - they have group classes, machines, indoor/outdoor pools, weights and trainers, but I'm not sure i can justify the expense yet. So part of today is mulling over a couple of decisions. Feedback and opinions welcome..........
