you have a lot happening right now with the changes in job and such. Don't be hard on yourself. I am in the same place. Too much sugar and wheat have been going down my throat!

I've been having trouble with my skin too, which is horribly upsetting to me. Nothing like before primal, but really frustrating. After cleaning all my brushes and throwing away a lot of stuff, the rash around my nose disappeared, then reappeared like a bad dream. Not sure where to go now! And I'm having occasional mild breakouts. I have been wishing it is socially acceptable to wear a bag over my head. Okay, I'm exaggerating. But really, why can't I get rashes and zits somewhere that doesn't show?!?!?

My hair is done. Adult acne products arrived (suggested by the lady who does my facials). Felt a bit blah, so the dogs and I got into the big bed for a bit until hubby got home. Slept 21 minutes deep before the dogs announced his arrival. Did laundry. Thankfully, I don't leave at the crack of dawn, so I can pack in the morning. Hope I'm not coming down with something!

Don't know what happened to my two posts yesterday.....gremlins, I guess. Arrived safely. Had dinner with youngest.

Tossed and turned my way to 7 3/4 hours of sleep. Split equally between light and deep. First night in hotel!

Will get moving in a moment. Today I'm working on proposal again/still. Should be quiet, as most everyone else will be at a leadership conference. I'm not going, because I refuse to pay for something the Dean gave select faculty for free. Will eat a good breakfast before I go and pick up a yogurt and fruit for lunch. Thinking steak tonight.

Wondered what happened to you as you normally post regularly.

I started taking Vitamin E again, mainly because the hot flashes were getting out of hand and am surprised to see an almost immediate improvement in my skin. Maybe it is coincidental as I have found that supplementation/vitamins work much more slowly. Of course I am being careful with the dosage as too much Vitamin E is toxic. I'm staying well below the threshold.

Met with boss this morning. Gave her thank you card. Spent the day avoiding my research proposal - put together course that starts a week from Monday, printed stuff, and fooled around with another course. Had yogurt and banana for lunch. Went down to nurse's day celebration - didn't eat (everything had gluten) and didn't drink. Back to hotel. Dinner at fav place - steak with chilies, onion, and green pepper, salad, baked potato, and Malbec.

0700 meeting tomorrow and I'm covering for faculty who's sitting in ED with daughter for probable concussion. Long day. Not sure what I'll do for dinner - Mexican Mother's Day, so packed eating out.

Slept almost 7 hours with it split just about evenly between deep and light sleep. Had to rush this morning to get ready. Met with my PhD chair at 0700. Then had to fill in for a faculty at the new student orientation. Worked on pharmacology class - all quizzes are done. Ended the orientation with a one on one chat with the PNP students. Now I'm getting ready to go back to the hotel and decide what to do for dinner.

Had the ultimate comfort food - nachos (corn tortilla chips), ate all the sour cream, chicken, and guacamole. Considering I had nothing substantial (banana, apple slices, and insides of a small sub) until dinner, I'm guessing it's okay. Had Chardonnay with. Hoping I sleep better tonight.
