Hope you got some sleep - and tackled that darned stats homework! I HATED my probability and stats class! But I still pulled an A!![]()
Yeah for the good guys!
Woke up after about 4 hours of sleep. Gave in and worked on some stats homework - should make me sleepy right? Been up about an hour and a half and I'm just about ready to turn off the light. Text from DH that they recovered the student and she is unharmed. He will be home tomorrow. The good guys win one!![]()

Math is not my friend! I did make an A in biostats 1. This is 2 and I have 3 next semester. DH is about 3 hours from home. The mystery frozen foods were cooked chicken and a container of ham/kale soup. So it's leftovers for dinner, but will set out steaks to thaw for tomorrow!![]()

Hi Kathi. So sorry to hear you have been sick lately. Here's to getting better as soon as possible!
Four boys, eh? I'm not the only crazy one. Our fifth was a girl. You want to try again? LOL!

Welcome Judg. I have a lovely DIL who fills the slot. My brother has two boys, so the standing joke is whichever grandson has a girl better watch out as she will be spoiled rotten!
I too am hoping to feel better quickly. It's hard to be enthusiastic about anything when you feel yuk. I want to start making my goals next week.

Here's to lovely DILs. I like to say that somebody else handled diapers, chauffeur duties, and teenage mood swings, and I get to reap the benefits.
No granddaughters in our family yet. Sheesh. The little boys are lovely, but ...

Slept well last night. Up for about 2 hours then able to sleep again. No headache or eye goop today, so maybe the antibiotics are winning. Need to run errands today.

I realize its been a bit since I mentioned the middle two sons who got in trouble earlier this year. Older of the two is on diversion, has a breathalyzer in his car, is paying off the lawyer, and picked up his two month sober chip at AA last night. He wants to get into college and is thinking about substance abuse counseling as a career choice. So something good came out of the whole mess. Younger of the two got one charge dropped and is on diversion for the DWI. I'm hoping he is staying out of trouble, but he is not as forth coming with details. The charge being dropped is a huge thing, as he can now apply for financial aid for school. The joys of adult children!

Errands run. Latte to vet for shots. Then made DH go to the store with me, as I tod him it was the only way the junk he added to my list would get in the cart. Interestingly the boys stuff rang up first and was 70% of the total bill. I got fresh fruit and veggies, almond milk, and Greek yogurt. They got frozen pizza, hot pockets, soda, chips, flour tortillas. I did get two baking potatoes for their steaks tonight. I will have a sweet potato and share braised kale and butter sautéed mushrooms, if they are nice!![]()

Kathi, have you ever tried using lavender oil to help you sleep? I got some therapeutic-grade lavender oil a few days ago, and I rub a little on my feet, a little on my hands and arms, and I've slept SO peacefully every night that I've used it!
