Dinner was tasty. Won't cook the meat as long next time. Finishing up my homemade, organic gelatin juice jigglers. They are tasty. Making up a batch for post-op.

From Against All Grain. 4 cups unsweetened juice, 2 T + 2 t unflavored organic gelatin. I used this one Great Lakes Unflavored Gelatin, Kosher, 16-Ounce Can (Pack of 2): Amazon.com: Grocery & Gourmet Food

Dissolve gelatin in 1 cup juice. Warm the rest of the juice and wisk into dissolved gelatin. Pour into shallow dish. Put in fridge over night. Cut like jigglers.

    Easy and good!

So my plans were significantly rearranged yesterday. I stayed home and vegged and did several loads of laundry from the trip.

Slept 7+ hours, but light significantly > deep. Getting ready to go to grocery store. Then will make myself spend about an hour organizing my office (yes I keep putting it off). Massage was moved to today. Quick run to the bank. Then pedi and facial. Dinner will be leftover homemade pasta sauce plain for me, with pasta for the boys.

I love her book. I'm flipping thru it on my lap right now, while iPad sits on chair arm, lord, what did I do without it?

Grocery store done, bank deposited, massage - slightly sore from knot removal, facial - squeaky clean, toes - pale sherbet green. Dinner was okay. Bit of a tummy ache afterwards - nothing bad - must be combo. Scored some gingeraide booch for post-op sipping at grocery store.

Taking an UP break until a week or so post-op. Just don't feel like monitoring.

Tomorrow primping, packing, and concert with friends. Hopefully will find good food!

Slept 9+ hours. Having coffee, sitting on my bed, watching morning news, with dogs snoozing around me. Latte is sprawled at the foot of the bed and Juliet is stretched out on DH's pillows facing the TV (yes she watches it).

Getting ready to jump in the shower and then pack. Concert is outdoors so wearing a light cotton pair of clam diggers with a snap pocket for phone, id, and cash. No purse to be searched. Hair up in a pony tail. Light t-shirt. Similar clothes for Saturday and Sunday.

No real plans other than concert and friends today. They will leave tomorrow. DH and I will probably wander around the shops. I do want to shop at the specialty grocery store Sunday before we leave. Sunday dinner is at my parents. Mom told me nothing with flour, so she's getting that part. Grains are a bit harder, so I just eat the safe stuff.
