Worked on course - almost done. Dinner was good. Can't relax to go to sleep and I had no nap today. Clinic tomorrow. Hope it's slow!

Slept right at 7 hours with deep just edging out light in the numbers (3:43 to 3:22). I didn't have any hour long deep sleep periods like I've been doing. Feel tired and not refreshed. Tummy thinks its hungry. Off to get some coffee and then to get ready for the clinic. Leftovers for dinner. Turkey salad for lunch. Laundry when I get home.

Thanks Tomi. When I get working on it, it just flows. I like creating on-line classes because they are in modules. You put all the information in the module including resources and links to discussion or assignments and rubrics. Nice and organized!

Slept almost 8 hours, but light was very heavy (5:24) compared to deep (2:24). I'm sure I will want a nap later. Today I'm running multiple errands and picking my car back up. Plan on spaghetti sauce with zoodles tonight. In Tomi's journal, namelesswonder laid out a step down plan for eliminating the bad stuff. So I'm working on total gluten free (its a sneaky ingredient) this month. I don't eat soy products and almost never have legumes, but they will be purged this month also. That leaves sugar, alcohol, and dairy to think on. I'm way down on sugar, but its another sneaky ingredient to watch for. September seems a good time to work on alcohol. Dairy I'm not sure about. I don't do milk, I do cream in my coffee when I travel (almond milk at home), I like cheese, and I adore butter. If I decide to take it on, dairy will be last. Okay, off to get ready for errand day!

All errands completed. Spaghetti sauce made, but put in fridge as DH took me to dinner after picking up car. Shrimp cocktail, salad, steak and grilled shrimp with asparagus. Yum! Home with DH for night together.

Even though I ate something with gluten (ordered off gluten free menu) and I woke up in the middle of the night with severe stomach distress necessitating getting up multiple times, I managed to get in 8+ hours of sleep (light>deep). I feel wrung out! Every time I eat gluten, it gets worse and this definitely was zero fun.

Today I'm going to pay bills, grade some papers, finalize and submit a paper, and finish up the course (syllabus, rubrics, and general ease of navigation). My co-instructor will run the course since I set it up. This is a win for me because it runs 7 weeks during the beginning of my surgery.

Dinner will be the spaghetti sauce I made yesterday. Not sure how I feel about eating. Right now I'm thinking tea instead of coffee. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

I'll warn you - I learned the hard way - when you go completely gluten-free, you can become hypersensitive. It's like your body forgets how to fight it. Now that I am totally free of it, even a small amount will send me to the bathroom for three days and make my scalp break out in psoriasis. Charming, huh? But I don't miss it, not at all.

Well I don't think I can do 3 days of that kind of misery! I've noticed I'm getting more sensitive as time goes on. I break out with "vampire" acne on my neck, too. Most attractive......

I slept another couple of hours and feel somewhat better tummy wise. I need to get something in it to see how it will do.

Moved paying bills to tomorrow. It's was a lighter day anyway.
