DH is home and well, thanks. I'm knocking on an 8 too, but the door isn't cracking yet.

So I guess I IFed most of the day. I had coffee with almond milk for breakfast, a Starbucks iced vanilla latte about 2, and the yummy fajita meat with onions, bacon, and poblanos for dinner. May need seconds later, we will see.....

Love those too! I love ALLLLL dogs! Zeus - my avatar pic - will be our last dog though We've have several - and our carpets and furniture show it! Time for no dogs and no cats when these 2 are gone. Then, we'll be getting new carpet and new furniture! The kids are all grown - so messes from them - and grandkids aren't anywhere on the horizon!

sheeesh - by husband is a boat mechanic - and I worry about him getting trapped under a fallen boat motor........ I don't know how'd I'd survive being married to a law enforcement officer!!! You have my sympathies - and my admiration! AGAIN!

You have to trust that he will do everything in his power to get home to you again. Also a bit of fatalism - if it's your time it doesn't matter what you are doing......

Definitely back to my usual sleeping pattern. Up from 1-3 this morning. Easy day today - going for a mani/pedi and massage. Going to bake some blueberry lemon muffins from Practical Paleo to take with me. Probably bake some bacon too. Start packing. Don't have to leave for the airport tomorrow until 11 in the morning, so will pick clothes but pack them in the morning to avoid too many wrinkles.

I hope your trip is fruitful and I am very glad your DH returned home to you. It is so true - no matter what we do, no matter how safe we play it, no matter what we eat or drink, we will all have our number come up...and it's all an eyeblink anyway. Okay, enough philosophy for now.

Sure wish I had some of that fajita meat right now...mmmmmmmmmm.
