    Zucchini boats look good. I roasted the eggplant with garlic and had it with the sauce and Parmesan cheese. It was yum! Not sure what I will cook tomorrow. Thursday I will do something pork in the slow cooker.

    Slept more than 8 hours, but more light than deep sleep, so still tired. I really need 4+ hours of deep sleep feel rested. Not sure what will be for dinner. Need to pay bills and do assorted school stuff. A blah kind of day.

    Grocery shopping done. Juliet to the groomer to be transformed from an Ewok into a schnauzer again done and home looking good. Pay bills - nope, balance checkbook - nope both rescheduled for tomorrow. Pleasure reading, mindless food network watching, and random computer use - check, check, and check. I'm definitely in slug mode today!

    my motivation

    As per Marcadav:
    Do 30-60 days clean primal.
    No grains, sugar, alcohol.
    Eat 3 meals and primal snacks.
    Don't track food.
    Don't tweak.
    Don't expect issues to go away quickly. Instead, just follow the plan and see how things play out.
    Decide on an exercise plan you can/will do consistently during the 30-60 days and then do it.

    Yes, the pups are cute. We miss Abby. Juliet has really become much more confident since we first got her - almost sassy in her attitude at times. It's humbling to know she trusts us so much after everything she's been through. She didn't say a word for two years and now she will occasionally bark to let us know she is excited or adamant about something. She has almost stopped cowering when you reach to pet her from above and she definitely isn't afraid of the kitchen any more! After a year, she started taking a treat from our hands - still tenitively, but she does it. Whoever abused her only had her a bit over a year, but boy did they make an impression that after 3 years we are still working to overcome.

    Slept a bit over 7 hours with finally more deep than light sleep. Feel more rested this morning. I need to spend most of the day in my office organizing, filing, and getting to the bill paying I put off. I set boneless pork chops in the defrost bowl and think I will do mustard glazed in the oven with spinach and smashed cauliflower for dinner. I think I'm ready to push myself to loose the last 30 pounds. I'm feeling ready and know if I keep eating primal, cut back on wine, and actually exercise I can do it. Time to pull out the hula hoop again as its my core that needs tightening. Think I will try Tomi's Barre3 on-line for a month and see how I like it. I like that it can travel with me.
