    Primal Fuel
    Slept off and on for about 7ish hours. Breakfast was the usual ths week. Very lazy day. Don't have to be at airport until tonight. Sometimes you need a lazy day in a hotel!

    Got home at midnight. Slept about 7 hours. Have not fully unpacked yet. Weight didn't change - funny the more I'm active the less it changes. I know that's why I try to ignore the scale! I will weigh the next few days and I know the scale will go down. House was clean, dogs thrilled we are home, leftover carnitas for dinner. Doing a load of laundry.

    When I was traveling a lot, I always, always lost 2-3 lbs after arriving home. Always. It was a bit weird. I attributed it to water weight/gas from being on the airplane - less pressure, more bloating!

    Good to hear its not just me, Siobhan. Slept right at 8 hours without waking up, but more light than deep sleep. Still tired. could easily go back to bed, but have to go to clinic. Putting fresh ham in slow-cooker - marinated with spices over night. So dinner will be done when I get home.

    Home from clinic - not too bad today. House smells fantastic! Baking some sweet potatoes and cooked up some spinach to go with.

    Slept okay. Scale is getting put away. Lazy day today. Cool (50-60) and rainy off and on. Plan on doing freezer inventory and some paperwork today. May take the girls for a walk, or hula, or shovelglove - too early to decide.

    My scales are out of commission too. I took the battery out and put it in the kitchen junk drawer - so its a LONG ways away from the scale. It makes me ANGRY too!

    Things I choose to let go:

    All grains - including rice
    Refined sugars
    Legumes - including peanut butter
    Nuts and nut butters
    Alcohol and soda
    Chocolate
    Acidic foods, such as pineapple and tomato
    Coffee and tea
    Eggs
    Curry
    White potato
    Dairy - including butter

    I'm choosing to do this......... I don't HAVE to.

    I'm doing this because I'm worth it - because I'm worthy - because I love myself.

    Really lazy day. Dinner: onion browned in butter, leftover spinach and fresh ham, and eggs mixed with green chili, Greek yogurt, and cheese baked in oven for 30 minutes. Easy and tasty. I agree with Siobhan that eggs make everything taste better!
