WOAH WOAH WOAH...hold the phone. And your horses. You should probably hold everything for a second...WHY do you want to lose 10-20 pounds, when you say you're at 160 now? At 18, you shouldn't want to weigh less than 160...

I'm gonna guess he's more wanting to just convert the fat into muscle, since vanity seems to be the goal rather than health.

Yes, but seriously, where did he come up with those numbers? At 160 lbs he has to either be extremely skinny-fat or just have no idea how much fat he actually has and just came up with a random number that sounded good. The first step would be to go somewhere and find out what your body fat % is...it's a better number to go by than weight anyway.

I completely agree. I know he posted in Meet and Greet too with the exact same message, and had replied that the day he had posted the messages was his first night even finding the website. Think a lot of it was more poor planning/ lack of research before posting. Hopefully between this posting, and the other one he'll smarten up and start to put in a little more effort on finding out at the very least the basics.

I have nothing against the young man, but a modicum of grammar is required when using words to communicate.

Maybe I just didn't get enough carbs =).

Nor do I...and it would do him well to actually do research and learn for himself instead of immediately asking for the answers to be given.

When I first joined a forum (not MDA) a few years ago my son who was 12 at the time advised me to use correct grammar or risk not being taken seriously. BTW this is from a kid who is unschooled.
