I would have cheerfully posted a picture of a firefighter or policeman. Real men, like real women, are willing to put their lives on the line to protect what they deem precious.

Pacifists---well---no thanks. No need for someone who thinks their safety is someone else's job.

    Or if you prefer:

" A man should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. "

Instead of taking the opportunity to post your version of a "real American man;" you not only make snide comments, but you place words in others mouths.

    Real American Man?

Generally, a penis and two testicles. Pretty much the same as the men in the rest of the world who also fight to protect what they deem precious.

Or maybe it's just the uniforms?

Does a "real" man risk being ostracized for doing what he think is right? Bradly Manning?
