Blood test: the ultimate proof that primal works!!

    Primal Blueprint Expert Certification
    Dear All,

Thought I'd share my news. My doctor, due to my big weight loss (35 ibs), reduced body fat (from 31,5 to 16,5 %) and increased muscle mass was very concerned with the changes over the last 6 months. Especially when I told him that I follow a primal lifestyle.

He immediately ordered all sorts of blood tests, including hormonal tests, tests for calcium, tests for vit D2 and D3 and many others I can't even pronounce, less remember.

Anyway, I'm very happy to report that I'm in excellent health. The only item that was completely off was my levels of Vitamin D - almost non-existant actually. I've since taken Vit D drops and trying to spend more time outdoors - we've had very little sun in Paris....

My cholosterol levels were perfect with very high levels of the "good cholosterol".

My doctor was actually very suprised and amazed that all my tests were just fine. Now he insists that I need to see a dietition to really ensure that I'm okay. Hmmm, I can just imagine what she's going to say when I tell her I don't indulge in our famous French Baguette...

So, I'm happy to say that Primal is working for me!

Something wrong with the picture when you get better and the MD gets more concerned. Good job though.

    I know, eh? Doctors sometimes.

    Great news!

I read somewhere a while back that France has one of the highest rates of Rickets (Vit D deficiency) in the world. Interesting.

Good news about the rest though!
