The Primal Junk Foodie: Spaghetti Doughnuts
Our newest favorite on a Saturday Morning!!
Left-over meat from dinner the night before along with whatever diced veggies wanted, line donut holes with some spinach and fill with veggie-meat mix that has been lightly stir-fried in a healthy fat! Then pour beaten eggs over the top and bake on 375 until Puffy and firm to touch (15 minutes or so) fill holes with crumbled bacon and top with some raw cheddar and avocado mousse!! Yum!!
Those look very interesting! Do they hold together well? We love our donut pan We've made 'lasagna', 'taco', chicken and rice, rice and cheese and several Breakfast versions! Plus of course every kind of Faux flour recipe we can come up with like coconut with cocoa frosting MMMMMM.....I have tried several variations of cauliflower and unless I use eggs I cannot keep it intact! How about you? What other combos?
The lowest carb ones are probably going to be the macadamia nut and the hazelnut so far. I grind all of my nuts after soaking and roasting. I use some coconut flour also. And of course white rice, tapioca and sweet potato. I am also developing an avocado dough, banana dough and a cream cheese dough. I have been working on tomato flour, cauli flour and spinach flour but still in developing stages
