    we've had quite a few storms roll in, drive up the humidity, and then roll out again with nary a drop of rain. it's maddening.

    Same here. We got to do my son's college orientation tour midday when it was 11 billion degrees outside with monster clouds surrounding us but sun shining directly on us. Thankfully, it started to rain near the end. It's one damn big campus.

    Oh, and my GOTD:
    It turns out my son's serious post-long distance running dehydration yesterday was, in reality, strep throat. Yea.

    It's all set to be 97°F (36.1° C) out here today, about 35% humidity. I biked in to work, which means I'll be biking home. A little over 11 miles each way. I'll probably be pretty schweaty.

    I get moody when it gets above 75 degrees Fahrenheit. I'd probably wither and die if I lived near the hotter spots.
