I seem to remember juice in moderation was okay on W30 (am I right?). I usually just use juice. Bolthouse Farms makes an orange juice from fruit concentrate (no HFCS or weird stuff) called C-Boost. It's delicious.
I fell for a homemade popsicle mold set at the grocery store yesterday. It makes 6 4 oz (125 mls) popsicles. The recipes that come on the box are not at all primal, and certainly not Whole30, which I'm doing at the moment, so I need other ideas.
Tonight's inaugural creation was blended fresh local strawberries, a few frozen blueberries, an avocado and half a can of coconut milk and about a tsp of honey. Made 5 popsicles. I'll try them tomorrow when they're frozen.
Anyone have any other non-dairy, primal-compliant recipes/ideas for popsicles?

we love the avocado fat, we throw flowers at them, we thank mother nature for them, etc.
Yeah, I want these popsicles to have some fat content for satiety, not just sugar content from fruit or juices. More of the creamsicle idea, but without dairy. I love the choc/banana/avocado idea.
Anyone tried freezing a smoothie with pureed spinach or kale?
these might brown, but i've heard that a combination of overripe bananas and avocados makes a lovely frozen treat. usually when we make smoothies, we use the overripe bananas as a sweetener.

I make lots of popsicles for my kids. I don't use juice, only whole blended in a food processor with coconut milk (that way they get the fiber too and not a sugar rush). Sometimes I add a little protein powder too. So basically they get a good fat-carb ratio and it's a nice snack or supplement to breakfast. Some favorite combos:
Banana-blueberry-coconut milk
Mango-pineapple-coconut milk
Mango-banana-coconut milk
Mango-blueberry-coconut milk
Mango-strawberry-coconut milk
(We do Trader Joe's frozen fruit and my kids love the mango...)

These "Flavor Cubes" started out as a way to make water more interesting for my family, then they became easy go-to's for quick slushies, smoothies, meal replacements, and in the case of the grandkids 'popsi-cubes', we use them for everything and have a huge variety now.
Easy to make~
Blend fruit OR veggies OR Both in a processor with a small amount of purified water (stevia is optional for sweeter) then pour into ice trays and freeze.
