    Quercetin supplements for allergies?

    Primal Fuel
I eat a pretty clean Primal diet and have tried various other tricks like sprays, probiotics, supplements and herbs, but I still get a stuffy nose and sore eyes frequently. This is year-round rather than seasonal.

I've read about quercetin and I'd like to know if anyone here has tried supplementing it and found an improvement in their chronic allergies?

I eat quite a lot of quercetin-rich foods anyway, such as oranges, berries, tomatoes, bell peppers, green leaves... but I wonder if supplementing as well would give my immune system a boost? If I were to buy the supplements I would have to order some as my local health food shop doesn't stock it, so I'd like to know if it's worth it.
Start weight: 238 lbs (March 2012)
Current weight: 205 lbs (July 2012)
    Loss so far: 33 lbs!!!
    WOE: Primal + IF
    Movements: Hiking, sprinting.
Goal: to see my abs some time in 2013!

It would help to know what you are actually allergic to. Would it be affordable (covered by insurance or have enough pocket money) to get tested for allergies? All the magical supplements in the world will not help me with my mold allergy.
