What do you guys use to calculate?

Lean body Mass, Carbs, Protein, Fat and total calorie intake for the day. I know most of the tools online are just estimates so just wondering.

    I listen to my body.
Calculators are one of the main parts of the things that led me to a severe state of hypogonadism.

I don't calculate anything. I eat fatty meat, organs, eggs, and drink raw milk till I'm full and use veggies as a condiment. Sometimes some sweet tator or sushi to switch things up.

Do you mean calculate or do you mean keep track...for a little while.

I kept track of what I ate for about 6 weeks, or something, so that I would have a real good idea of what this kind of eating looks like, but now I do what Daydreamer and Neckhammer do.

To all the other posters that stated they don't track, that was a huge benefit to the OP. WTF is with people on these boards. If you don't have anything constructive to add to the thread, DON'T POST IN THE DAMN THREAD. Nobody cares that you track or don't track. All it causes is clutter to read through.

I wasn't going to post, but I will now.

    I don't track.

That's the same answer I would give if the OP was asking me that question in person.
Disclaimer: I eat 'meat and vegetables' ala Primal, although I don't agree with the carb curve. I like Perfect Health Diet and WAPF Lactofermentation a lot.

Well if the question was "Do you track your calories?" it would warrant that type of response. That wasn't the question.

Neckhammer... your mom tracks my calories. OOoooooooohhhhh!!!!

I get that people don't track here that's fine. I'm trying to lose some Body fat at the moment. I have been managing to lose 1lb a week consistently with counting calories. I wouldn't worry about my intake if I'm on maintenance. I would think that even being on paleo, I would still have to watch what I'm eating as I have issues eyeballing portions of food. At times, I don't eat enough for appetite reason as it is getting hot where I am and this affects how much I eat.

I use the harris benedict equation to estimate my calorie goal and x that with how active I am during the week. The more I lose the lower I bring my caloric intake to support my current weight. This has worked for me when I want to lean out, I was just curious if you are tracking your calories and macro if so then what type of tools online you use to get an estimation.
