1 lb of sweet potatoes everyday. Is this stopping me from leaning out?
I used to be VLC but in recent months i've cut out some of my daily fat intake and started eating sweet potatoes and carrots daily. Something i never used to do. I'm already fairly lean i just want to get a bit leaner. Is this amount of sweet potatoes, and more on workout days, stopping me from leaning out more?
All depends. Are you exercising intense enough to warrant a pound of sweet potatoes? AND what else are you consuming with said tators?
A pound of sweet potatoes is only about 375 calores and 80 carbs. Like Neckhammer said, it depends on what else you are eating throughout the day. If this is your main carb source, and the rest of what you eat is meat, fats and non-starchy veggies, then you should be good to do.
