    No more weight loss

    Primal Fuel
I need some serious help. I've been Paleo since 2/27/12. NOT to lose weight but to detox, etc. Unfortunately I have lost some weight and I can't afford to lose more. I eat a lot of nut butter, meat, chicken, eggs, honey, avocado and loads of fruits and vegs. Help me put some weight back on, please.

Oh, and how do I contact a moderator to change my name on the forum?

have you added back starchy foods? like bananas, potatoes, yams, etc?

are you doing any resistance training to build muscle?
i'd be a vegetarian if bacon grew on trees.

Yeah, eat sweet potatoes with lots of fat like tallow and butter and you should gain some weight, healthily.

add more carbs (like others have said-with bananas, sweet potatoes, and such). Eat more fat. Look at your exercise program and make sure you aren't overdoing things.

carbs + fat will help you gain weight. Carbs in the absence of fat, and fat in the absence of carbs, help lose it.

What's so funny about detox? Do Whole30 and all sorts of nasty gunk comes out of your body, dude.

When I cut out dairy during Whole30, I had all sorts of snot and loogies coming out of me. Can't tell me that's not a detox. Also if you go meat only for a week or two, you poop like mad (at least I did). In my mind, that's also detox.

Furthermore, I've also heard stories of oils and junk coming out of people's bodies during the process. Detox. No longer craving carbs & sugar = successful detox.
