Congratulations and Happy Birthday!! The difference is clear between photos and it sounds like you are all happy! Yay!

One year no weigh? That is admirable. I'm not at all sure I could do that, but it is a great idea!

    Thank you Tomi!

Did I mention that Boyfriend got me a hiking backpack made for holding a baby? This will make walking to Mordor much easier. =) We just took it out for a test walk and it works really well.

*Hugs* HAPPY BIRTHDAY! LOOK AT YOUR KICK-ASS SELF! yaaaaaaaaaaaay *flails like kermit*

I am doing good. Better? I am getting more and more sensitive to gluten (which the doc warned me about, but still scary) so I unfortunately had some exposure this last month which set me back a bit. Apparently being in the same kitchen where flour is being used is enough now? IDEK. Also the sugar cravings are still absolutely killing me. Been trying to stick with at least low glycemic index sugars if I do give in (agave syrup in the coffee for instance) but I need to figure out a better way of dealing. I have a meeting with my nutritionist tomorrow so I'm going to discuss with her and also I'll get my body comp numbers. I have a feeling I'm not getting the results she wants me to have, so maybe talking about portion sizes/ratios of meat to veggies too? Have you come across any good articles on this? I've seen a lot of you can eat how much you want, but really the caloric math doesn't add up on that one.

I was also inspired by the NF walking to Mordor article, so yesterday I signed myself up for Map My Run (Running, Running Maps and Running Routes, Runners Community | MapMyRUN ). I'm going to build up to walking 5 miles a day. Another fun walking challenge I saw was "walking" across the United States. Here: http://exercise.lbl.gov/index.html;j...94CF57702B9E2C

Also your pictures have been fabulous so I'm going to do the same!

Last night I had a fabulous birthday party: fire pit, hot tub, red wine, chocolate, and berries. I had a fantastic time.

Katie, I'm also building up to five miles a day! I found that walking three miles at a time was hard on my ligaments/tendons but if I do a mile here and a mile there over the course of the day I handle it much better. Also, of course, walking on the grass is easier on me than walking on the asphalt.

Today boyfriend and I are going to go hiking, and I'm super excited to take the baby backpack out.

How are you tracking your miles? I've only been doing select recording of my walks vs. a pedometer, trying to make the whole going walking a more deliberate thing, on top of what I already walk just normally.

    Have fun hiking!
