Good on ya!
Don't forget in the summer, your blender is your best friend. For a now and then treat, IMO, it doesn't get much better than no-cheat paleo ice cream!!!

Nice. The looks like a fruit slushy more than ice cream. But it looks really nice.
We've found the best homemade ice cream to actually (gasp!) use a trace amount of sugar. Here's the recipe.
2 eggs, separated.
1/2 c sugar
500ml Cream
1t Vanilla
Beat the egg whites until stiff. Add half the sugar and beat until stiff again.
Beat the egg yolks with 1T warm water and the other half of the sugar until frothy.
Whip the cream in a large bowl, stirring in the vanilla.
Fold (gently stir for 10s) all three mixtures together.
Freeze for 2-6 hours, stirring halfway through (it freezes from the outside in)
Serve straight from the freezer.

Teehee..um..well, that is because I totally forgot to take the picture until I was at the end of the bowl. lol. It was sitting on top of some nice warm paleo-non cheat cake sooo..yeah. Promise the stuff totally comes out ice cream consistency as long as you don't over pour the milk.
Your recipe looks great. We can't do dairy here though, and we don't do sugar, but yum!

I use a raw vegan one: banana, avocado, and then whatever you are using for flavoring (frozen berries, chocolate and nuts, whatever).

That looks awesome...but do you know a good substitution for Almond Milk? It's damned hard to find in these parts.

Any liquid would probably do pretty well, I think.
I'm eating way less fruit now, but man I know how delicious those frozen fruit ice cream blends are!!
I actually made coconut milk ice cream for the first time today and it was so easy. Can of coco milk, two eggs, temper it all and make a custard base, add whatever. We did instant coffee and cocoa powder with toasted hazelnuts.
For those of you out there who don't want to MAKE their own ice cream, I FOUND A PALEO one in an organic market. It's called Luna and Larry's Coconut Bliss and comes in different flavors. My fav is Chocolate Hazelnut. Found it just in time too as I had just whipped up a batch of: http://www.marksdailyapple.com/forum/thread56737.html and didn't know what to do with it short of pouring it over ice cream or cake. Ummmmm good!
