    Is my mashed potato primal?

I make my mashed potato buy boiling the potatoes with onion, garlic and spring onions, then I mash it with non-dairy butter, does this sound primal?

It sounded fine until you got to non-dairy butter. FAIL!

Why not real butter? Margarine is definitely not primal.

    Non-dairy butter is an oxymoron.

    Fresh frozen.

    Healthy grains.

    Etc.

Non-Dairy butter is basically olive butter, my mother's trying to be 'healthy' (don't get me started on that one). So if I used proper butter it's all good?

I'd use real butter, real olive oil, heavy cream, or good chicken broth over the olive oil spread. Have you looked at the ingredients list on that stuff? It's basically margarine with some olive oil in it so people think it's better for them. Check out the nutrition facts stuff on these. Not good at all.
