It's a joke thread. It's actually poking fun at the idea that Taubes has been called fat(which is of course a terrible reason to listen to or not listen to someone, as I've said in countless other threads you've been a part of). Oh, sorry, I guess that's too subtle for you.

I voted for "LOL Taubes is fat" because it's funny. It's funny, because that guy who eats a ton of bananas posted that picture in the first place, not because Gary Taubes is actually fat. I think Gary Taubes is kinda sexy is a way. Now I'm gonna go eat a sweet potato and it's not going to make me fat.

I think the point is being missed by some people here. Just to look at Mark Sisson show PB works, but you've go to live it. Taubes my be a bit weighty, but he's certainly not obese, look at the definition in his forearms for starters. He's just not as hardcore as Mark. I got laughed at when I turned up at my mother's place in my Vibrams, doesn't mean I'll stop wearing them! It's pointless to make fun of anything!
