When I crave a doughnut or cake, I eat macadamia nuts, almond butter, dark chocolate, or make little donuts out of sweet potato and cover them with melted dark chocolate
Maybe try get into sushi instead?

I say eat the donut as long as you can have one or two and be done with it.
