    Is Amazing Grass SuperFood Primal/Paleo??

    Primal Fuel
Hey guys, I was just wondering if Amazing Grass is considered a safe supplement to take. I have like 5 jars of this stuff but dont want to take it if it's not considered Paleo/Primal. I have been 100% for 15 days and have eliminated my acid refux, gerd and migraines so I dont want to fudge it up.

    Here is the link
If you scroll down a little you can click the nutrition tab to view the stuff in it....

It is gluten free and they harvest it while it is still baby grasses so it technically hasn't turned yet.
    Whats your intput?

If this product is something you really enjoy, and it's compensating for some mineral/vitamin deficiencies in your diet, I don't see any reason to stop using it. My only criticism of the ingredients is 'natural flavors', which essentially can mean just about anything. It's an ingredient I generally try to avoid, but if this isn't a sticking point for you, I don't see anything else that's problematic.

    ‘Natural’ flavor: Not so natural

So then lemme get this straight......
because it is harvested as a baby grass its not a grain then?

I may have to bug the company about that Natural Flavor Ingredient....

I am actually not taking this at the moment, I just have 6 jars sitting in my freezer.

There is a difference between the 'grass' part and the 'seed' part. The 'seed' of the plant is what we refer to when we talk about grains. The 'grass' part doesn't contain the problematic proteins and phytic acid, which is why celiacs have no problem eating wheatgrass, because the 'grass' doesn't contain gluten, the protein in the seed of the plant.
