A true Grokian workout
Been a while since I posted here and yesterday and this morning I put in a primal workout in the true sense of the word.
I took up a new hobby about a month ago, slinging.
I normally have been taking practice time as I get it out on a few large streams in the area but have been pretty stationary. Yesterday my nephew and I took to the ball field near my work and practiced slinging a baseball back and forth. I did it again this morning and found I had put in a good Grokian workout walking around after the balls I sent flying a good distance. It got my heart rate up quite nicely.
I even explored the treeline Movnat style in search of a ball we lost the night before and turned up more ammo for practice.
