Went to Dr this am for physical. I was going to get my NMR lipid profile redone to see what I look like under the hood since switching to Primal. Totally got talked into a new lipid profile, the HDL test, basically another version of NMR or VAP from Health Diagnostic Laboratory (HDL, get it?). Anyhoo, has anyone else had it?

Liked NMR but this is supposed to be much more detailed and come with a handy little info packet so you don't have to google all the acronyms to figure out what the hell is right or wrong with you... Guess what else? It measures Omega 3 levels. That was an interesting twist for me...

I know NMR (because of the way they measure LDL) is more likely to say you have small dense pattern and VAP is more likely (again, because of the way they measure) to say you have fat fluffy LDL. Love to know more about this one... anybody?
