actually, i have a life, and sometimes i like slobbering over fantasies on the internet like a ten year old girl. i happen to believe in people feeling good about themselves because of the quality of person they are and how they treat others. that has nothing to do with my sweet spot for ryan reynolds or other such hotties.

Also, I think it's a bit of a ridiculous assumption to think that someone who says "that person is hot" is somehow sexually frustrated or unable to find a partner.

Personally, I have a man with a physique along the lines of the Ryans (or maybe closer to Batman Christian Bale--a bit more bulky than the Ryans). Did you know that men with that sort of body are frequently overweight or obese by BMI standards? Guess that makes me a chubby-chasin' kinda gal. So sad.

I think it's pretty pathetic when someone can work himself into such a furious froth over people who think that fat folks are human and deserve dignity and respect and can't conceive of the fact that people might think this way even if they are not themselves fat. Also, why does it matter to you who women around here think is sexy? I think you're more offended that we stopped paying attention to your childish, hate-filled spew.

Actually... studies have shown that the most "fit looking" folks (ie the bulging, ripped, six pack crew)... are not actually the healthiest in the long run.
But if that's the type of life they enjoy, or they just enjoy the fact that it pays their bills REALLY well, good for them.

I love watching Nigella too, but because she seems so happy with the food and it's preparation. I would love to have that all the time as I spend so much time making healthy food for my family. Food should be a celebration and it seems a rare thing to see my family excited over some wild caught or grass fed feast I prepare - F'ing media and pizza crap!!!

We built a 'wild rabbit' out of meatloaf last night, and followed it with home-made icecream (with shredded coconut and tiny fragments of dark chocolate folded through). "Meal of the week" according to the kiddos, even if the rabbit ended up looking more like an alien than a rabbit once it came out of the oven.
