recomp, legumes, dairy and travel
I have been traveling for a few months in asia and have been trying to do a leangains type style recomp as best i can with mostly body weight exercises done every other day. After poor results (pretty much spinning my wheels) I was thinking of doing rest day with plenty of protein and canned beans rather than rice and incorporating milk to a higher level post workout. I know legumes arent ideal but it makes sense that a slowcarbesque rest/walk day with a slightly higher carb and milk on work out days would be the best way to do this given what i have available and traveling on a tight budget. Any thoughts on this approach or other suggestions?
