Like bubbles? A home seltzer maker can really improve the appeal. These massive amounts of cold water (or juice or soda or milk) drunk with meals just seem to facilitate overeating; I view it as just another part of SAD/CW happily left behind. Never really understood the rationale for overriding your natural thirst cues, anyway...& like Magnolia, I am much less thirsty off grains/sugar even with exercise. I often do 10-mile hill hikes fasted without touching my water bottle unless it's a hot day.

Stop forcing yourself to do things you're clearly rejecting. You're not thirsty, don't drink. You don't need an arbitrary amount of water just because it's recommended by "experts". I barely even drink water, only when I feel like it. If you don't feel like it, you don't need it. Not hard to tell when you're thirsty.

My water consumption has gone way down recently - to 1.5L/day instead of over 2.5, and that's including tea or coffee. My pee is now really, really yellow, or very thick-looking, with medium yellowness. Isn't that bad? Like working the kidneys too hard.

No, that's fine. It's ideal to urinate once every ~4 hours or so. Polyuria which is common with low salt, low carb, excessive fluid intake, et al. leads to things like low basal temperature, dry skin, dry mouth, etc

Each time you dip in to ketosis you lose water.

When you lose water you lose salt.

Eating Primal > no processed foods > less salt than before.

    ...

There is no evidence high salt intake is bad for your body or heart if you don't already have hypertension.
