Every time I cook with it, I get a whacking great heat pulse and then everything in me goes whoosh out me bum. Is this normal? Do I need to stop using it or will I get used to it? whats happening to cause this?

In use a half table spoon in the pan to make breakfast and a tablespoon in my coffee (with a tablespoon of butter) once in a while. I dont use much more than that.

Is it EVERY time you eat coconut oil, or is it just breakfast? Coffee alone has that effect on some people. Coffee + 2tbs fat = instant cleanout.
I prefer to fry breakfast in butter or bacon fat.

I LOVE the whoosh. I drink a box of coconut milk (in a fasted state, turns it into a ketogenic fat-fast) every morning to get my hands hot for the morning blood draws at the hospital. But I'm a rush junkie, anyway.
However, if I cut my tallow with coconut oil 50/50 to cook dinner in, I do not get any rush at all. Maybe try combining it with other fats or foods?
