Are you using virgin coconut oil? Not everyone can tolerate it.

Switch to refined and you should be fine. It's cheaper anyway.

There is no reason anyone should make cooking oils a significant source of calories, especially if you're trying to lose weight. It's strictly for lubricating pans. If you really feel you need more fat, focus on whole food sources.

I have it in my coffee in the morning. Keeps me nice and regular, lol!!! Doesn't give me the runs though. Maybe you are using a little too much?

It took me a couple of months. It used to make me sick to my stomach, and I would break out into a cold sweat. I stuck it out... It's glorious now.

I use it in coffee only as more like food, the rest of the time it is to lube the pan. I am loosing weight redonkulously fast if you ask me. I also IF a lot and when I am breaking fast with a cup of coffee in the morning, I like it lubricated. I hate black coffee but will stick to the butter and honey for now.

I only use it in cooking; and, as a supplement (eating it by the spoon). I tried it in coffee, and it taught me never again.

I'll mention this just bec. I wd. like to know if anyone else has experienced this. Had for breakfast eggs fried in CO and two cups of B-proof Coffee before going to work. Whilst shaving (w-in 20 min.'s) I began to feel nauseous with potential trouble brewing both North and South. H.ad the whoosh and felt like throwing up and weakness all at the same time. Went upstairs, grabbed a Lg. bowl and turned to go back downstairs and passed out. I regained almost instantly upon hitting the floor and remained there soaking wet with sweat while my wife called work to teel them I wasn't going to make it that day. 2 hours later I was OK. I can only trace it as a reaction(or OD) to the CO. Never happened again. I use butter for the eggs now....

I got it once when I was just starting to use CO. I mixed about 2 tbsp with a tbsp of cocoa powder and couple of stevia packets. Turned into chocolate paste - amazing taste. I ate it as an afternoon snack, then experienced the sudden onset of nausea, the sweats, light-headed feeling. I can't remember if I had the whoosh or not - it was about a year and a half ago.

I just cut back on CO and was OK. Now I can use it without any problems. In fact, I have had relief from menopausal hot flashes when I added intentionally added 2 tbsp/d of CO into my diet.

Great weight loss, btw, Warmbear. I saw your Facebook post today.

This is me. It is my breakfast. Some ppl use cream, I use butter w/CO in my magic bullet and create this nice frothy cup of morning goodness that hits the spot and satisfies me until 12 or 1. If I tried to make it on only coffee - and I probably could - but then my calories would be too low for the day. If I were to be going over calories then I could see that would be one place I could cut so I keep that in the back of my mind. As for getting fats in real food, I guess I could puree an avocado for my coffee but that just wouldnt be the same, not if you buy into the BP coffee doesnt break a fast theory at least in terms of fasting type benefits. And I think that is what his reasoning is behind the CO & butter. That yes it may not technically be a fast since it has calories, but you can enjoy the same benefits as if you did not break a fast. I dont know, but I enjoy it. It is my breakfast. It just makes me feel good and I look forward to it.
