    Probiotics...how much is too much?

    Shop Now
I take BOTH Threelac and Kyodophilus probiotics daily. I take 1 pack of Threelac and 2 Kyo pills three times a day. This has helped me greatly. What is the primal opinion on probiotics...I may up this to 4 times during my PMS week when I have more cravings and blood sugar imbalances.

I've never heard of too much probiotic. That's like saying too much protein.

How long have you been taking Threelac? I used to use it all of the time with great results, but a couple of years ago it stopped having the same positive effects on me. Any similar experiences? Maybe I should try it again with my greatly improved diet.
I wish I liked to eat liver.

When you say it has helped you greatly, what has it helped with?

Too much protein can cause kidney problems.

what do you do in the unit and how do you *know* the connection is true?

    here it is

    are you a renal physician?

even that may not be persuasive - look at all the gastros treating Chrohns disease and ulcerative colitis and telling patients to follow low fat, high fibre diets, increasing grains or people who "work in" diabetics clinics and push the usual cw rhetoric, heck most doctors push cw

Is Mark a renal physician? I am a nurse on the ward and have seen a lot of cases of (mostly women) brought in because they have been following high protein and vlc carb diets. I suppose the only way to tell then is go ahead and eat excess proteins and see what happens. ANYTHING in excess is potentialy bad for you.
