Hi everyone, I've been primal for 2 months & I'm very eager to learn all I can. I've lost 15lbs. so far. 10 more would put me at a very comfortable weight. I haven't had too many days that I wanted carbsl but lately I miss them but haven't faltered & eaten any because I know its bad. I'm hypoglycemic so eating has always been a must for me which is why I've taken a liking to this. Some days, especially first thing in the morning, I'm starving & it seems to take lots to stoke the fire. I'm here for encouragement, recipes, knowledge, & if I can be of any support to anyone, I'll do my best. I lurked around a while before joining & my final decision was made by a member called sungrazer & he's not even aware of it. I found his posts to be uplifting, motivational, & very supportive of others, so I'm hoping to find more like him here & have no doubt that I will. Thanks for reading.

I'm new to the forums also. Went Primal about 9 months ago and my energy levels are off the charts. I'm 56 and used to have hypoglycemia, allergies, migraines, fatigue and lots of colds...not anymore. They all vanished. The first 3 weeks are a little tough to stop the carbs, but really, just do it and you will not be a slave to the carb merry-go-round any longer. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

Thank you Nocona! That's inspirational to me. Along with the hypoglycemia, I've had a life long migraine battle. They are better in the past couple of years though. Maybe I'm finally "growing out of them" Hey look! GRAIN is is migraine haha. There's the problem!

Thank you so much! I'm very interested in recipes. I don't want to get tired of feeling like I eat the same things all the time.

I post my dinner (complete with food porn pics) most evenings on my journal. Take a look and maybe see a new idea or two.
And I agree with primalrob about eggs being your best friend especially when you are making the transition to Primal.

Carbs aren't bad, grains are. Grab a sweet potato, mounds of veg and dig in!

    And welcome.
Eating primal is not a diet, it is a way of life.
