Training for a 5k.
My mom wants me to do a 5k with her and my aunt. It's in a couple of months and I'm really excited to see what I can do now that I'm primal.
I ran Cross Country before and haven't been running since I changed last November. I can still run a 6:30 mile so this shouldn't be too bad. If I just walk longer and more often as well as sprint longer and more often I think I should be fine. Even if I don't get in any long distance runs from now til then I think I'll do fine. I have nothing against long distance, I love it actually. I just want to see what I can do without it.
Anyone recommend a different plan or should I stick with this and self-experiment? I know what to do diet wise, it's just training advice I want. Thanks Guys!!
