Oh man that sounds good...
*DESSERT...Gah!
banana
tablespoon of almond butter
3-4 small 85% chocolate squares
pinch of salt (optional)
Throw it all in a bowl and put in the microwave for about a minute or so. Mix everything together until smooth. That's it! It tastes fantastic and it is so easy! It's so good, with every bite I still can't believe it's primal! This equates to roughly 29 carbs (depending on size of banana and quality of chocolate). It would probably also work well with some whipped cream on top!
Let me know how your version tastes!![]()

Thanks, jllundqu! Definitely give it a whirl!
Okay, so I just tried another variation of this. I upped the fat, and knocked the carbs down to roughly 18 grams. Equally as tasty! I just ate it and I'm extremely satisfied.
2/3 banana
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 tablespoon cocoa
Pop all in microwave for about a minute. Stir. Eat!

What brand of almond butter do you guys use? I can't seem to find any without palm oil, maybe Im just not looking hard enough.
That is good, but we use whipped cream instead of almond butter. It is our go-to dessert.
We get our almond butter from Trader Joe's. It is not organic, but it is only almonds.
Whipped cream sounds like an excellent sub for almond butter...or an excellent addition to the whole mess! Will try that one soon, thanks!

I do the same thing but substitute the almond butter with an avocado or the cream from the top of coconut milk.
Don't let anybody tell you, "You can't" just because they can't.
