    Yes. All nuts and seeds should be soaked to eliminate toxic enzyme inhibitors.

    The Raw Sicilian Almonds have the benefit of not having been pasteurized in some way (you probably already know that all American 'raw' almonds are actually pasteurized, using either steam or chemicals). So these almonds actually have the potential to sprout if you soak them long enough!

    I don't sprout mine.....maybe I should? Does it make them less crunchy or change the texture?
