Weight this morning 184.5 - nice.
W went to applebees this afternoon i IF'd till then and DH doesnt know that i do this - in his family that's like a cardinal sin if you miss a meal. so i indulged in just appetizers as my meal. Came home and later had some berries with cream and sugar free chocolate syrup. processed, but dh was having cookies and i could smell them across the kitchen.
I have finished packing for DH and myself. The kids.... well that's another story. DS works at the local amusement park calle kings dominion and they have him closing tonight they are having some BIG even there today so he will be tired I'll have to get up with him to morrow and check his luggage,. I am tired and think i will go to bed - I got pampered today : mani, pedi, haircut and style. I am SOOOOOO on vacation.
Monday we hit Orlando then to Port Canaveral, then Tuesday its Key west then a Wed: day at sea Thurs: Nassau Bahamas friday: Freeport Bahamas Saturday; we head home.
i dropped my ipod in water damn the bad luck.
i just may have to snag DSMini ipod shuffle. hehe. damn.
So i am officially down about 14lbs since i started gradually going into this - down 10lbs since i really went Primal. yay me.

How was the vacation??? We've done 2 Caribbean cruises! Loved them both! First was western, second southern.

    my motivation

Things I choose to let go:

    All grains - including rice
    Refined sugars
    Legumes - including peanut butter
    Nuts and nut butters
    Alcohol and soda
    Chocolate
Acidic foods, such as pineapple and tomato
    Coffee and tea
    Eggs
    Curry
    White potato
    Dairy - including butter

I'm choosing to do this......... I don't HAVE to.

I'm doing this because I'm worth it - because I'm worthy - because I love myself.

I am back ya'll!!! vacation was GREAT!
I will be honest I did not stay 100% primal, duh. lol
but I only gained 2 lbs
I did find the Alcohol concotions nice and cold and smooth and hard to stay away from - I did have Dessert 2 nights while on the boat. I also had a smoothie while in Key West.
I did exercise the second day
Then on the third day, my feet swelled really bad. I have never experienced anything like this. All I can think of is it may have been from the amount of salt and preservatives in the foods. The alcohol probably didn't help either.
So I am up and need to get ready for work blah. back on the horse so to speak and am going to IF till dinner tonight to get my system straight.
I will post some pictures later when my internet is working better - while we were gone there were massive storms and our AC took a crap luckily DH brother was on top of it and called and had it fixed. Now the internet is screwy b/c we have DSL and everytime we have lots of rain our phone lines get funky. but such is life.
Otherwise it was beautiful Key West, Nassau, and Freeport were our stops
The kids had a ball - and so did we. It was much better than our first cruise.

    Yesterday was a good day
had veggies and meat that we cooked as kabobs for lunch yesterday.
    then an apple for snack
    went for a 3.6 mile walk/jog/pushup session
came home fixed 3 eggs and some grapes

My puppy is acting really weird. It's gotta be all the strange weather we've had around here - he seems to be really sensitive to change, and since we were gone for a week I don't suppose it makes it better. With DS now working our schedules are unpredictable and I'm not sure if that is adding to the issue My little girl dog is fine so I'm sure it's not something that they ate.
He is older too, 8 years old. He is my Big man and I worry about the littlest things when he isn't being himself.

Today I am going to take my boiled eggs and some ham and pickles with creamed cheese. i will be studying today and from now until Fall Semester - I have A&PII which is basically Gross Anatomy and I want to brush up on my terminology and go over some of the chapters we didn't in the previous course.
I wil also be starting a respiratory care class the first of many. i am so excited

Weight is coming back down At 186 even this morning.

Like I said I only gained 2 lbs while on the cruise and the fact that I am moving back downward and am headed towards TOM is amazing to me. I do believe eating and being in this lifestyle has helped my body realize it can let go of unneeded and unhealthy fat. Unhealthy b/c I am still overweight.

Yesterday was pertty good - I have been sticking to boiled eggs for breakfast and if I'm hungry i will grab some almonds or sunflower seeds. All meat and veggies for dinner and I make sure I have my fruit every day.

I just can't believe the success I am having and not hungry. I'm not going to lie, some days it is hard. I get that sweet tooth, but I will not settle for artificial crap I will eat real chocolate!

I went on my cruise and thought to myself I was going to have a hard time. I didn't, b/c I wasn't hungry like I used to be I ate when i was hungry and that was it. I did not need snacks to tide me over or dessert after dinner. It was really liberating knowing i could eat all the meats and veggies I wanted and forget the pastas and other stuff and only have one plate and be satisfied. it was amazing watching other people go back for plate after plate.

I have learned that my body does have a negative reaction white flour, and anything battered and fried. I get severe heartburn. if I eat artificial processed sweeteners (including stevia, yes it is processed those crystals don't come off the plant naturally) I get digestive problems. Since I have been doing this I have not had ANY issues as far as digestive issues including constipation, which I used to get when I was on Atkins.

i want to warn anyone reading my journal (if any) I will be in and out less frquently in the coming months. My Fall semester of school is coming up in August and it will be consuming physically and mentally. I will continue to do my hikes and occasional P90X plyo/cardio sessions. I will checfk in occassionally, but I will be alive

OH BTW puppy is doing better
