So, what you're saying is, we should ban silly hats and dreadlocks in addition to 42-oz sodas?

While we're at it, let's ban patchouli. That stuff stinks and makes me sneeze.

Let me see if I get this straight. You are telling me that I should turn off my computer monitor and go out for a long walk in the nice sun, but I should not forget to bring some sun screen lotion with me in case I wonder off too long and get burned on the back of the neck like I did last time.

Well for once, I totally agree!

No thank you. Stay the hell out of my kitchen.

Okay, back from my walk. Now back to the discussion at hand...

Why would a Wookiee, an 8-foot-tall Wookiee, want to live on Endor, with a bunch of 2-foot-tall Ewoks? That does not make sense! But more important, you have to ask yourself: What does this have to do with this thread? Nothing.

The Government's only power is their monopoly on the ability to use force to subject its citizens. That's the reason why there could never be another civil war against the US government. It would be very easy for them to turn off water and power supplies to the area of revolt, and there aren't enough individual farmers who produce enough food to sustain a standing army for a prolonged period of time. Nuke? No. Just turn off all methods of transportation and food supply. Heck, a set of strategically placed EMPs could take stop any "serious" revolt against the government.

You don't quite get it. All violence is bad. Government is simply a subset of all violence. Although, a rather large subset.
