I've decided to do some experimenting for the next 2 weeks, or as long as I can keep this up without it turning into a source of stress.
I'm going to aim for 1200-1400 cals per day (I am mainly sedentary). Non-gym days will be low carb (under 50g) and gym days I'll eat sweet potato, carrots, green beans, and white potato, and probably some vege soups. I want to kick start my losses and it's been quite a long time since I've actually counted calories. Primal has allowed me to drop about 1lb a week without paying attention so I got lazy. I'm also thinking I need to cut dairy again as I have had upset tummies and been quite bloated lately and I'm almost certain that dairy is the cause. I'm hoping I'll be able to jump my losses up to more like 3lb a week.I won't lose at that rate forever but I feel like I need some good losses again.
I started doing this 2 days ago (so today is day 3) and I feel good so far. Just need to finish off the dairy in the fridge and not replace it and hopefully my bloating will disappear. I definitely have much better workouts and can lift more weight on higher carb days
