Missing a day on starting strength
I came to gym today and it was closed. I workout on sunday, tuesday and thursday and i don't want to change this. So should I do my workouts this week on monday, tuesday and thursday and then getback to normal. Or should I wait until tuesday and do the workout I was gonna do today? (in which case I have taken 4 rest days)
It won't make that much of a difference. Whichever you prefer.
I believe that the increased coritsol levels due to stressing whether or not you are doing it right offset any possible benefit of doing things one way over the other. If you are fully recovered and ready for the workout, don't sweat it. If its that important to you, go early Monday, then next week do the Sunday workout as late Sunday as possible, if for no other reason than the psychological benefit of the consistency you seek.
