I thought it would be fun to have a thread where we weigh in on different chocolate brands, flavors, grades of darkness, etc. Right now I'm working my way through a Green & Blacks 85% dark bar. It's really fruity. Has a nice snap. Good mouth feel.

I've tried numerous different brands, and I think that the Green & Black 85% is the BEST. Very silky texture, low sugar, but not bitter. Yum.

I am also a fan of Green & Black's for the mouthfeel/texture. For a chocolate bar against other 85%s, it has a really rich chocolate taste, possibly from the slightly higher fat content.

My favorite, by far, though, is Valrhona chocolate, which is a French brand. And if I can ever get my hands on it, Galler chocolate from Belgium.

Lindt is a strong bar when it comes to price point and availability.

Another fan of Green and Black's 85% here.

Also, I occasionally treat myself to Green and Black's Cherry, which has bittersweet cherries and dark chocolate. It's a lot more sugary, but is a taste sensation.

For gourmet chocolates I shop at Hotel Chocolat. Naughty but very very nice:

i was at hyvee the day and bought these awesome single serve dark chocolate patties only ingredients are organic honey, organic unsweetened chocolate and peppermint oil. Shit was amazing. They had ones with almond and ginger too. Cant remember the brand though.
