Outside Magazine has an article posted that claims that Paleo will adversely affect your endurance.

Outside Magazine - Will the Paleo Diet Hurt my Endurance?

What are your thoughts?

Having never been an endurance athlete, but working on developing endurance, the topic is interesting. I know I feel better when I add carbs to my diet, but (contrary to the article linked to in this Q&A piece about The Paleo Diet for Athletes) I get them from stuff like sweet potatoes or maybe some rice (generally accepted primal additions to the diet).

Given that my guts hurt if I eat pasta/bread/gluten now, I'll trade a little endurance if that's what the price is. Is it the price though?
