....I know Hitler isn't PC, and I apologise up front if it upsets some, but I saw this and thought it was such a laugh....if Hitler didn't like Crossfit, then perhaps he wasn't all bad...lol
Hitler Versus CrossFit

Well... If you can follow the German it is much less funny. In fact Hitler's real speeches are very easy to follow for the non-native speaker - this not so. Bit garbled and unannunciated.
In general, the National Socialist movement grew out of the sport-fitness movement in Germany of the mid to late 1920s. That doesn't make Crossfit bad, but there is probably every reason to think Hitler would have approved. It's not really different from the sports camps they ran in the 30s and the similar athletics clubs.
I see this is getting quite a few views...but not a lot of comments....lol
I love it, and posted in on one of my (gym) co-worker's pages.
"Get off of Glassman's nuts!!!"
LMFAO!!!!
People too weak to follow their own dreams will always try to discourage others.
I know the meme all right. It's just it only works if what he is saying is gibberish to you. It's a great piece of acting though.
I tend to think people obsess about the last days of Hitler too much. It's not easy to draw lessons from the end, - like you can't draw many inferences about good health from the last days or hours of a terminal cancer victim. What is interesting are the early days and the dynamics of the Weimar republic and how the NSDAP manage to sink their [tomcat analogy] in far enough to enact a revolution. The politics of the occupations are interesting too. A lot of western Germany was occupied after their defeat in WW1 too, and how exactly the zones worked after WW2 is something drifting out of living memory now.
