    Any Good Shoes?

    Primal Fuel
I'm looking for some new shoes for sprinting and general exercise. Any suggestions?

I don't think I'm ready for vibrams/barefooting, so I'm looking more for some minimalistic shoes.

    I'm guessing there isn't.

By "barefooting" I meant literally not wearing any shoes... As some Grokers do here.

My question is, are they that much better than other minimalistic shoes? The only difference is the toes.

There is a huge difference between being able to move your toes individually on the ground than being able to move your toes inside a wide toe box. I think VFFs are well worth the extra. I also like Huaraches for the warmer months, of which I have a number of home made and one set pre-made from Invisible Shoe.

Yes, because your feet and toes can spread out and get strong. After 6 months of wearing Vibrams or nothing or flip flops I can barely put my old dress shoes on and I hate them. They squeeze my feet and make me feel like I'm going to fall on my face.

Go try on a pair at REI or some other store and you'll see. My wife made fun of my shoes and said she wouldn't be able to wear them because her feet are flat. She tried on several and bought a pair. She wears them a lot of the time on weekends. She's still scared to wear them to work. :-)

Check Birthday Shoes for some good reviews.
VFF would be the idea I guess but not everyone's feet fit them. Merrell and others do some great barefoot shoes in a traditional style.
There are also bridge shoes for those runners who don't want to give up some of the cushioning of a trad running shoe but still keep the 0 drop
Eating primal is not a diet, it is a way of life.
    PS
    Don't forget to play!
